If the Danish Parliament passes the legislative proposal, the weight will change from the permissible total weight of the truck or vehicle combination to the technically permissible maximum weight of the motor vehicle. This weight can be read in field F.1. on the truck's or tractor unit's registration certificate.

How is the infrastructure charge calculated?

The Danish Road Directorate has calculated that the infrastructure charge can be up to 1.37 DKK per kilometer on average.

Subsequently, the Danish Parliament has set the infrastructure charge to be between 0.11 and 0.44 DKK per kilometer, depending on the truck's CO2 emission class.
